HGMRA is a service organization providing scholarships for Houston area students pursuing careers in the Grocery business. Over the past forty years HGMRA has awarded almost a thousand scholarships.
The entire Houston Grocery and Representative community works together to raise funds for deserving students pursuing careers in the Food Busines. The HGMRA is working with the Houston Food Bank this year as a venue for events and a partner in supporting their efforts to feed the hungry. Did you know that Houston Food Bank distributed 70 million pounds of food last year, from their old location! The new facility is over five times larger and is the largest Feeding America facility in the country.
